On Monday, September 9, the middle school volleyball team beat Ohio Valley Christian School two sets to one, while the high school team lost to OVCS three sets to zero.

The volley ball teams played at home at the HLC building at Christ Temple Church.

After Monday’s game, when asked about how they played, Laura Nicholas, a Covenant school student replied, “I thought that we played better than had been, and I am not disappointed in how we played.”

For freshman athlete Emily Nicholas, she believes the team performed well, but needs to work on some technical pieces.

Emily Nicholas said, “I think that we played extremely well, but we are a little sloppy in our technique.”

The Lady Eagles middle and high school teams will be playing against Beth Haven starting on Friday at 5 p.m.
